Eats & Beats: My Brother’s Bar – 150 Years of Serving Beer and Spirits

Dr. Dave Newman, formerly a long-time local optometrist, is now engaged in his second career in the hospitality business – operating a 53 year-old Denver icon, My Brother’s Bar. Known for Dress-your-own Burgers and its classical music ties, My Brother’s Bar is continuing the 2376 15th St. tradition of offering cold beers and fine spirits, as it has since 1873. On The Morning Set, Steve Chavis and Abi Clark invited Dave on Eats & Beats to talk about the history of the oldest continuously-serving bar in Denver.
