Eats & Beats: Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs
There are hot dogs, and then there’s Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs. Just two blocks from Coors Field, both their locations get busy in the ballpark neighborhood during baseball season. Owner Jim ‘Biker Jim’ Pittenger has bigger plans: as he puts it, plans for “world domination” as their amazing variety of hot dogs are now available in select retail stores in four western states. Biker Jim and General Manager Logan Smitt visited The Morning Set with tales of the dog and news of an exciting new brunch menu to drop in May of 2024. Of course we had set the table with a great “walk up” tune from Chris Powell & The Five Blue Flames – Hot Dog.
