Eats & Beats: 5280 Mag’s “25 Best Restaurants”

The premise: fine dining is out.  Casual dining is in.  But 5280 Magazine’s food editor Amanda Faison compiled a list of the “25 Best Restaurants” in the metro Denver area.  She shared her opinion (and some tasty tips) on “First Take with Lando and Chavis.”

“I wouldn’t say (fine dining) is over.  I would say it’s shifting,” said Faison.   “It’s the same quality as a fine dining restaurant, but it’s in a more casual environment.”

“New to the list” entries in 5280’s “25 Best” include Acorn (RiNo district), The Plimoth (North City Park), Basta (in Boulder), Bistro Barbes (North Park Hill), To The Wind Bistro (East Colfax), Lower 48 Kitchen (Ballpark), Stoic & Genuine (LoDo),  and Work & Class (RiNo).
