Donate Your Gently Used Instruments | Mar 13-25
Bringing Music to Life is a Colorado charity that provides instruments to Title-One Colorado schools that have underfunded music education programs.
The 2017 instrument drive is set for March 13-25.
Here are some of Bringing Music to Life’s Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I donate my instrument?
You can drop it off at one of the 15 state-wide locations.
What instruments are needed?
We welcome donations of band and orchestra instruments, including strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion and guitars. With the exception of upright pianos and organs, we accept all instruments in good condition.
My instrument needs a tune up. Can I still donate it?
Yes. Almost all instruments need some work so they are in the best, playable condition when schools receive them. The Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology (CIOMIT) repairs donated instruments for us at a greatly reduced cost.
