DIA showcases local craft beers, artistry
While you’re in line to clear TSA security and cross the bridge to Denver International Airport’s Concourse A, don’t rush past the display cases. The next exhibit there (September 20 through December 2014, and just in time for the Great American Beer Festival) is called “Colorado On Tap: The State of the Brew. DIA’s Art and Culture Program Manager Chris Stevens visited “First Take with Lando and Chavis” with the details.
“Ansbacher Hall (named for conductor and arts activist Charles Ansbacher) leads to Gate A security. That’s one of the areas we program regularly with temporary exhibits (including ‘Colorado on Tap’),” says Stevens. ”Craft beer has become such an important part of Denver and Front Range culture.”
“We’ll show off everything from the design of the labels to the creative glassware, the growlers, and the tap handles.”
The exhibit was timed to coincide with Oktoberfest and the Great American Beer Festival.
