Denver Workforce Chief: “The game has changed for employers and job seekers”
Happy Workforce Development Month. It’s really a thing (established in 2005), and that’s a good thing right about now because Colorado’s unemployment rate crept up to 4.5 percent in August 2024 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).
Part of the solution is your nearby Workforce Development Center, with in-person and virtual tools for job seekers, young and old, AND tools to help employers find the workers they need. Denver’s Chief Workforce Development Officer Tony Anderson visited KUVO’s Morning Set, with the latest information on their range of services online and at three Workforce Development Centers around Denver.
