Covers & Remixes

This week on the Thursday night Jazz Odyssey we’re back with the second edition of the show dedicated entirely to the art of remixing, and artists paying tribute to some of their own favorites through mimicry, the greatest form of flattery.

We’ll be jumping back into some of Dele’s favorite jazzy remixes and covers from producers like Louis Futon and Zikomo, and composers like Sly5thAve who channeled the awe-inspiring power of an entire symphony orchestra into recreating some of Dr. Dre’s most critically acclaimed work as one of hip-hops best producers.

If that all sounds familiar, don’t worry, Dele’s still mixing in some fresh finds yet to hit the airwaves of  Jazz Odyssey on Thursday night, November 5 at 10 pm. We will aid you in continuing to expand your musical palette.
