Comadres Fiesta Navideña on Canción Mexicana

Our Canción Mexicana holiday special “Comadres Fiesta Navideña” is filled with festive music, stories of Christmas past, and memories of growing up in Colorado, Texas, New Mexico and beyond.

Join hostesses Debra, Mona Lisa, and Yolanda on Sunday, December 13, from 9am to 1 pm. Dance and sing along while making tamales y biscochitos con la música Navideña on Canción Mexicana!

The Comadres have prepared a program filled with their favorite holiday music by many of the great musicians played throughout the year! Jerry Dean, Freddy Fender, Ramon Ayala, and Sparx. You’ll hear their versions of old standards like “Jingle Bells” (Cascabeles), “Oh Holy Night” (Santa Noche), as well as their original songs like “It’s Christmas Time in Texas,” “Christmas in New Mexico,” “Rudolfo!,” and “Tejano Sleigh Ride!”
