Colorado Black Arts Festival: Origins | July 8 – 10

Come celebrate the 30th Annual Colorado Black Art Festival: Origins – July 8-10; 10am to 8pm – Denver City Park West.

You are invited to join in the celebration! Bring the family and plan to stay awhile, there’s something for everyone. When was the last time you had fun doing a scavenger hunt?  CBAF’s Scavenger Hunt will take you on an excursion of the entire festival grounds – explore and find the answers to questions on African American arts & culture with family or friends.  Scavenger Hunt starts at the Information Booth near the 17th Avenue & Esplanade entry gate.

This year showcasing the rich and creative talents of local, regional, and national African Americans in art and culture. The three day event will feature three stages filled with jazz, blues, reggae, gospel, traditional African drum and dance. This is a family friendly event with programming and activities for the entire family. The Saturday morning Boogaloo Celebration Parade is a crowd favorite as it is a colorful and exciting street celebration.
