Clark Terry—A Denver Perspective

Join me Friday for a special edition of Lunchtime at the Oasis beginning at Noon when 2 former Clark Terry disciples and C. T.  band members, trumpeters Bob Montgomery and Brad Goode join me to share their memories about the late Clark Terry. Both Bob and Brad attended Mumbles’ 94th birthday at his home in Pine Bluff, AK earlier this year and have just returned from participating in Mr. Terry’s memorial services in NYC last weekend. We’ll chat about how Clark shaped their careers, the importance of jazz education and the legacy left by one of jazz’s all time most important musicians and educators.
