Chicano Music Hall of Fame on Salsa Con Jazz

Join host Janine Santana on Salsa Con Jazz has she honors Chicano Music Hall of Fame inductees on Sunday, July 26, at 2pm.
Jimmy Trujillo, who was a beloved host of Salsa con Jazz as well as an excellent Latin Jazz and Salsa bassist in a number of Denver groups. Jimmy was inducted into Su Teatro’s Chicano Music Hall of Fame at the Chicano Music Festival in 2015.
This year, percussionist Frank Ayala, founding member of Latin Jazz group Mistura Fina is being honored in the same way. Salsa con Jazz will feature a segment honoring these two important musicians alongside the Chicano Music Festival, also celebrated on Latin Soul Party, Canción Mexicana, La Raza Rocks and Super Sonido this weekend.
