Annie Booth is an award-winning pianist, composer, and educator based in Denver, CO who has established herself as an active force on the on the local and national scenes as both a bandleader of the Annie Booth Trio and as a busy side-woman (Greg Gisbert Quartet et al). Annie is a recipient of an ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award (2011 and 2017) and was awarded the 2017 ASCAP Phoebe Jacobs Prize, an award that recognizes one promising young female jazz composer each year. She has been named “Best In Denver” from Westword Magazine the jazz genre in 2015, 2016, and 2017 and was featured as part of Jazz 89.3 KUVO’s 2015 “30-Under-30” series.

Max Wellman, a prominent jazz vocalist out of Des Moines, will be joining the trio in celebrating the sounds of the season of Vince Guaraldi’s legendary soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas, along with the Annie Booth Trio’s arrangements of holiday favorites as heard on their Christmas album, Festive! (2016).

The Annie Booth Trio is comprised of long-time friends and accomplished bandmates in their own right: Annie Booth (piano) Patrick McDevitt (bass) and Alejandro Castaño (drums).
