Celebrate Great Women of Jazz | Jan. 30

Join renowned musicians Lynne Arriale, Carla Cook and Grace Kelly for a night celebrating the great women of jazz January 30 at Dazzle Jazz.

Sharing popular tunes from jazz greats – Nina Simone, Abbey Lincoln and Joni Mitchell – Ariale, Cook and Kelly will add their own unique reinterpretations to the classics. Combining passion, soul and sensitivity for a night of empathetic collaboration, these women will joined by Evan Gregor on bass and Ross Pederson.

Pianist Lynne Arriale, saxophonist Grace Kelly and vocalist Carla Cook will discuss their Dazzle gig and how they have been influenced by jazz’s great women artists.

Lynne and Grace have toured together extensively and invited Grammy-nominated Carla Cook to join them in presenting this special event. Carla brings the powerhouse trio full circle with influences that include elements of R&B, European classical, Motown, Blues and Gospel.
