Celebrate 4th of July at the First Friday Jazz Hop in Five Points

Curtis Park Neighbors and the heart of Five Points invites you to celebrate the 4th of July weekend at the First Friday Jazz Hop on Friday, July 2 at 5:30 pm and 7 pm, two locations

5:30 PM – The Stafford Hunter’s Funk Jazz Explorations will revisit the music of Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters, Freddie Hubbard & Original Funk Vibes, and Jazz on the funky side.

Featuring Stafford Hunter on trombone, Chris Ferrari on saxophones, Stu MacAskie on keyboard, Tony Golden on electric bass, and Matt Campbell on drums.

Bring a lawn chair and or blanket and get comfy in our beloved Cousins Plaza to enjoy the sounds of The Stafford Hunter’s Funk & Jazz Explorations.

7 PM – The Gayle Lealie Jazz & Blues Quartet will be playing live at Agave Shores on the patio.

The Quartet features Larry Henley on bass, Vince Wiggins on flute, Kevin Smith on drums, and Gayle Leali on keyboards and vocals.

Agave Shore is Five Points’ newest restaurant located in the Five Points Plaza next to Spangalang Brewery.
