Behind The Mic: Tree King on Autism Acceptance Month

Tree King, KUVO Host of Midmorning Jazz, joined us on The Morning Set to share more about her programming for Autism Acceptance Month.

For Women’s History Month, Tree King’s KUVO Community Connection highlighted influential women of Colorado. Last week’s guest Dr. Temple Grandin took us into National Autism Acceptance month.

This Friday April 5 2024, her guest will be Aswala Cole – a Mom-prenuer, Esthetician, CAN Autism parent and advocate. She is a Mother of two son’s on the ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) – One is verbal, and one is not.

On April 12 2024, CEO & President of Firefly Autism Dr. Amanda Kelly will talk about what they do to assist families dealing with autism. In a couple of weeks, Firefly Autism will have their annual Laugh Yourself Blue Gala at the DCPA

And on April 19 2024, Tree King welcomes Jude Kofie aka Jude Keyz. He is a child prodigy on the piano whose talents are more remarkable given his start in life. Jude was born prematurely with low oxygen levels and a hole in his heart. Now he performs weekly at his church and at the Children’s hospital among other community spaces.
