Annie Booth speaks about her life during Women’s History Month
Westminster native Annie Booth is our featured artists for today’s Colorado Women in Jazz.
She grew up in a musical family and became interested in jazz at an early age.
While in High School Annie started playing jazz with the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts and took up piano lessons with Pat Bianchi.
She was gracious enough to stop by KUVO so that I could do an interview with her regarding some of her upcoming performances, how she got started in jazz, her group (The Annie Booth Trio), her favorite jazz song and more.
Sit back, relax, and let Annie tell you her story, as only she can, as we celebrate Annie Booth during KUVO’s Colorado Women in Jazz for Women’s History Month.
More information about Annie is available at her website.
