Annie Booth “Flowers of Evil” Album Release Show

Thanks for joining us for a very special evening celebrating the album release of Flowers of Evil! The VIP Pre-Show Cocktail Reception will take place in the lobby of the Buell Public Media Center, just right outside the doors to the theater. We’ll kick off the reception at 5:45 pm. Doors will open to the main show at 6:30 pm and the show will begin at 7 pm.

There is no designated parking garage for this event, unfortunately, but there is street parking on Arapahoe Street and there is a parking lot located at 21st and Arapahoe that is around $5 for evenings.

Join us for a very special evening, Annie Booth’s Flowers of Evil Album Release Show – Thursday, October 19 at 7 pm at the KUVO Masterpiece Studio inside of the Buell Media Center (2101 Arapahoe St. Denver, CO) for a performance of Annie Booth’s otherworldly chamber jazz suite, Flowers of Evil.

The album released worldwide on Friday, October 13, 2023, features an 11-piece ensemble and lives between the boundaries of jazz, chamber music, and art song, blending poetry with improvisation, and emotion with sound. Masterfully sung both in French and English by renowned soprano Kathryn Radakovich. Annie Booth brings the complex world of Charles Baudelaire’s 19th century Paris to modern times through her fresh and compelling music.

Featuring: Annie Booth—piano, composer/conductor, Kathryn Radkovich—voice, Remy Le Boeuf—reeds, John Gunther—reeds, Brad Goode—trumpet, Zach Rich—trombone, Adrienne Short—violin, Kari Clifton—cello, Tim Wendel—guitar, Matt Smiley—bass, and Dru Heller—drums.
