America’s Musical Journey with Jazz Musician Ron Miles | Apr 9

In the new IMAX film “America’s Musical Journey,” you will tap your toe to the sounds of jazz, blues, zydeco, and old-time country music as you travel to vibrant places where American music was born, from New Orleans to New York City. After the film, Ron Miles, acclaimed jazz trumpeter and director of jazz studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver, will take a closer look at the history of jazz in America and in Denver. Miles is an inductee in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, and his new album I Am a Man was on NPR’s list of top albums of 2017.
