Sylvester and Theodora Adua grew up cooking for their respective families in Ghana. Since moving to Denver in 2000, they have served Colorado with real authentic food, beers, root drinks, bitters, wine, good African music, and amazing drummers & dancers from the continent of Africa at their family restaurant established in 2004. African Grill and Bar in Lakewood specializes in the most popular cuisines from the continent of Africa, such as; South African “pap” and Chakalaka, East African “samosa and chapatti, North African “Couscous”, West African “Fufu” and “Jollof” Central African “Cassava, Plantains and peanut dishes.
