Guitarist Ian Argys, a native of New Hampshire, but raised in Colorado, tried out such instruments as the clarinet and the alto saxophone, before claiming the guitar as his primary force. He was fourteen years old when a family friend put a guitar in his hands. He was so taken with the instrument, that the guitar has been played by him every day since that time.
Some of the other musicians Mr. Argys has been privileged to worked with include Mark Patterson, Mark Simon, Paul Romaine, Kent Mclagan, Janet Feder, and cornetist Kirk Knuffke, and many others.
Mr. Argys travels worldwide and is available for performances, recordings, collaborations, lessons, tours, full-time employment, and more.
Currently, Ian offers guitar lessons on Zoom.
