On Wednesday night West Metro Fire reported transporting seven people to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries ranging from cuts to broken bones. Singer Dionne Warwick and Queen Latifah – “The First Lady of Hip Hop” – are among the 46th class of Kennedy Center honorees.  Other recipients of the prestigious award and fancy ribbon and medallion are Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees, soprano Renee Fleming and comedian Billy Crystal.

Kennedy Center president Deborah F. Rutter said each of the honorees “explored new terrain, stretched artistic boundaries, and most importantly, committed to sharing their gifts with the world.” The show airs December 3 on CBS, hosted by Gloria Estefan. (SOURCE: Kennedy Center)
