The Tenia Nelson Trio (TNT) is a special collection of like minded jazz musicians lead by Denver pianist Tenia Nelson. These two sets will feature a number of classic R&B tunes re-imagined through the jazz lens. Tenia Nelson- Piano, Brendan O’ Donoghue- Bass, Alex Tripp- Drums

Tenia Nelson is a Denver based pianist, percussionist and jazz educator. Tenia received her Bachelors of Music Education Degree from Metro State University of Denver in 2004 and a Masters of Music is Jazz Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010. Tenia plays in a number of formats and styles and is a member of Spherio, that explores the music of Thelonious Sphere Monk.
