Ken Walker

The Ken Walker Sextet is an iconic and beloved jazz group which has played together for more than two decades. While the sextet is led by the world-class bassist Ken Walker, it has strong individual voices and exhibits a musical coherence that comes together with its feet firmly planted in the soil of post- bop. Ken Walker was a professor of jazz at the University of Denver, and you can catch him on the regular Denver jazz scene.
