This Friday night is the return of the virtuosic Gonzalo Teppa Quintet, featuring Gonzalo Teppa on bass,  Greg Harris – vibraphone/piano/percussion, Alex Heffron – guitar, Andrew Wheelock – drums, Ike Spivak – sax/flute/clarinet.

Their music is always very accomplished, fresh, beautiful, and at times thrilling. They will perform a collection of Teppa’s compositions that draw from the musical wells of contemporary jazz, Latin American music (Venezuelan, Brazilian and Afro-Cuban) blues and free jazz. Teppa obtained his Bachelor of Music and Master in Jazz Studies degrees at The University of Colorado. He has performed with: Wynton Marsalis, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Matt Wilson, Ed Simon, Chris Potter, Tom Harrell, Bobby Shew, Ron Miles, Art Lande, Slide Hampton, Don Byron, Jeremy Pelt, Ben Goldberg, among others.

We don’t take reservations, so come early to get a table and enjoy a great bistro dinner, beer and wine.
