Performing originals and arrangements Lucas Deal was born in Salt Lake City Utah and quickly took an interest in music, especially Jazz. He earned a bachelors in music from Brigham Young University and has recently finished up his masters at UNC. When the pandemic hit he knew he was going to need to create his own playing opportunities so he started a band with his fellow UNC students. They have been playing together ever since and have grown to be able to play very open and communicative music together. The band recently recorded an album consisting of Lucas’ original music so they are in top shape! They play a mix of jazz standards and their own original material from every band member.
