The Gospel Train | Sunday 8am

The Gospel Train show was an inspiration given to me by my formerly created independent show The CEC Gospel Music Ministry (A Continuous Evangelistic Crusade Music Ministry)  On the highway and hedges of life spreading the word of Song.”. Given the opportunity to join KUVO JAZZ radio was a true blessing for me and the Gospel music ministry It opened up to new avenues and gave me  the ability to spread Gospel music to a wide-spread audience.

I always wanted to minister in music great Gospel music to inspire and create in each person that I reached a motivation and a willingness to share love. That is what Gospel music is about -“spreading the word of God in music to each and every person that you meet.”  As coined by Dr. Al Bell owner of Staxx and Bellmark Records, “Gospel music has played a most significant role in the African American culture.  Gospel music is an expression of the realities of Africa American lifestyle and culture as impacted by our religious experiences. All of gospel music is born of this. We must continue to preserve, perpetuate and promote gospel music to its highest pinnacle and increase our moral and spiritual belief, which remind us of the power of praise and oneness with God.” 

Playing gospel music on the radio is a commitment and a calling to reach as many people as possible and touch their hearts with love through music.

On The Gospel Train you’ll hear music from old time traditional (James Cleveland, Blind Boys of Alabama, Otis Clay, Aretha Franklin and Lee Williams & The Spiritual Q.C’s– to R&B contemporary Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Kurt Carr – to the new age Rap and Hip Hop Lacrea, Gospel Gangsta, DKR, to name a few.

Gospel music is the foundation of our culture and I will always support great gospel music to its highest.
