Former Live at the Vineyards performers Bobby Watson and Curtis Lundy’s latest album, “Keepin’ It Real”
Kansas City based saxophonist and educator Bobby teams up once again with Miami bassist Curtis Lundy, they have played together in various bands for over 30 years. Victor Gould is at piano and Victor Jones plays drums. Trumpet players Josh Evans and and Giveton Gelin on trumpet.
Vocalist Somi with the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, “Holy Room: Live at Alte Oper”
Although born and raised in Champaign, IL, Somi is of Ugandan and Rwandan heritage. Somi was mentored by the legendary trumpeter from South Africa-Hugh Masakela.
Pianist Gerald Clayton lead his trio and quintet, “Happening: Live at the Village Vanguard”
Gerald is the son of the outstanding bassist, band leader and educator John Clayton. Gerald grew up in Los Angeles and was a teenage piano phenom, now in his mid-30s Gerald already has been nominated 4 times for a Grammy.
