The Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion ensemble plays a complex rhythmic and lyrical blend of flamenco, jazz, European and Indian classical music, and Afro-Caribbean-influenced styles. Formed in 2018, they have been playing to sold out audiences in the Denver area from the very beginning, and were recently honored to receive Denver’s Westword 2019 Music Award for “Best of World Music”. Their latest album Turtle Dreams is full of original music hailed for its color, vibrancy, emotional nuance, and sophisticated rhythms.
