Valentine’s Day is almost here and for some people they think of chocolates, lobster tails, champagne and so forth. Yet there are some of us who want to eat well on Valentine’s Day but might be on a tighter budget. Well Birdcall and Joy Wine and Spirits have you covered.

This month’s Wine, Beer, and Food Pairing features Manager Clay Young from Birdcalll presenting not one but 2 mouthwatering chicken sandwiches (The Southern and The Deluxe) which Carolyn Joy of Joy Wine and Spirits  pairs with an interesting white wine ( a Muskateller Sauvage by Heidi Schrock)

Clay and Carolyn and I discussed, the sandwiches, the wine, an upcoming trip that Heidi has planned to Denver, and also how Birdcall likes to give back a portion of their profits to diffirent charities. This month’s charity is WIRES.

WIRES is based in Australia and works to rescue and care for native animals. They have been doing incredible work during the devastating Australia wildfires, and Birdcall is  happy to support their efforts through their  ‘1% back to the community’ initiative.
