Bandoneon, violin, viola, guitar, piano, bass, voice and more… Orquesta Tipica Natural Tango, directed by Nicholas Jones, was founded by tango dancers who recognized the need for live music that was not only enjoyable to listen to, but that was also danceable. Originally a loose collective of dancer-musicians, the Orquesta has grown to include members of the Colorado Symphony and Colorado Ballet orchestras, as well as professional musicians from the Denver metro area and beyond. Festival begins at 6pm in the Dance Hall, band at 9:30pm.
