Jack Mudry

Born in Detroit Michigan, Jack first moved to Denver, CO after graduating in 1972 from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois with degrees in Spanish and political science, and a secondary teaching certificate.

From 1970 to 1971, Jack lived in Madrid, Spain and studied at Filosofia y Letras in the Georgetown University Program. After moving to Denver, Jack worked as a substitute teacher and with community and non-profit groups, including Common Market Food Cooperative.

Jack worked in Jalapa, Veracruz, Mexico in 1981-82 as the Director of the Study Abroad Program for the University of Colorado, Boulder. In 1983, Jack worked in Washington DC as a reporter for the Independent Press Agency of Central America (AIP).

Jack shares the CDs, vinyl LPs and cassettes collected during his numerous travels and time living in South and Central America every Sunday morning on his radio program.
