Matchwits host Craig Eliot: kids are smarter
Carlos and Steve took a morning off from our usual Tuesday, 6:35 a.m. brain starter quiz questions by interviewing Craig Eliot, host of Colorado’s statewide high school TV game show, “Matchwits” (Sundays, 6:30 p.m. on Rocky Mountain PBS).
“Their timing is unbelievable,” notes Eliot. Contestants have five seconds from the instant they fire the buzzer to answer the question or lose points. “Yes, they are intimidating. The crew and I look at each other and wonder, what we were doing when we were in school?!”
Eliot offers more behind the scenes perspective in this interview.
