Award-winning jazz pianist Justin Kauflin will perform live during an interview on Take Note March 26 from 2:30 to 3:00 pm MT.

Justin and his constant canine companion, Candy, will be promoting Justin’s CD release party on March 26 at Baur’s Listening Lounge.

Kauflin began his musical journey at age 4 with violin, adding piano a few years later. By age 6, he was performing in concerts, nursing homes and weddings. Kauflin went on to become concertmaster for several orchestras by the age of 23.

Kauflin’s journey to success has not been without its challenges, he lost total vision due to a rare eye disease.

Featured in the award-winning Colorado produced documentary, Keep On Keepin’ On, the movie is based on Kauflin’s mentorship with Jazz legend Clark Terry. This film will be shown May 14 at the Five Points Jazz Festival.
