Baur’s Listening Lounge Officially Open for Business

Denver’s newest jazz gem, Baur’s Listening Lounge, welcomed nearly 100 people to its grand opening April 23. 

Guests enjoyed live music provided by the Music Appreciation Society and a taste of Baur’s menu. Executive Chef Robert Grant provided a modern twist on classic dishes, including asparagus fries with lemon goat cheese, spicy goat nachos and steak tartare. 

A unique and historic venue, Baur’s provides a main hall, bar, and listening lounge featuring a Steinway Model B grand piano. The venue offers a state of the art sound system with performance lighting throughout the facility.

Offering intimate “un-plugged” performances by local and international artists, Baur’s listening lounge features multiple genres of music. In partnership with the Music Appreciation Society, Baur’s will bring jazz, bluegrass, world, classical, folk, blues, pop and chamber to the heart of Denver. 

Upcoming performances include Bethany & Rufus with special guest Brahim Fribgane April 30 and Katie and Bobette Mahan on May 10.
