Lisa Downing at Soiled Dove Underground | Sept. 4

A featured artist in The International Piano Experience, internationally renowned pianist Lisa Downing will perform on September 4 at the Soiled Dove Underground. 

An award-winning international concert pianist, Downing is re-defining the genre of solo piano.

 Critics have said: “Lisa’s playing touches all your emotions, providing them with a startling mastery of her own beautiful and heartfelt voice.”

Downing regularly performs with Grammy Award winning musicians such as Liz Story, David Lanz, Will Ackerman, Suzanne Ciani, and Peter Kater.

Featuring four internationally famous solo piano artists, listeners will enjoy music by Colorado artists Lisa Downing and Louis Colaiannia as well as  Julio Mazziotti from Mendoza Argentina and Mario López Santos from Aranda de Duero Spain.

Each of these musicians is an accomplished composer, performer, and recording artist with CDs that have gained worldwide recognition.

The compelling original music of these broadly imaginative composers ranges from from Latin influenced jazzy new-age and upbeat neo-classical, to pieces reminiscent of an intensely somber and dramatic soundtrack for a “Twilight” – type saga.
