Art Scene: Park Hill Art Club Spring sale & show May 13-15

This month on Art Scene, we profile an art club for the very first time, the Park Hill Art Club.  Joyce Nielsen is the president.

“We have 85 artists registered for this show,” said Nielsen. 

“For the past three or four shows we’ve asked one of our (abstract) instructors, Jennifer Bobola, and her partner to play (saxophone and guitar) at the reception Friday at 4:30 p.m.  Jazz music is perfect for the art show.”

This year’s event includes demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday, and a book signing on Saturday.

The Park Hill Art Club Spring Art Show & Sale is May 13 – 15 at Park Hill United Methodist Church, 5209 East Montview Boulevard (at Glencoe), Denver, CO 80207.
