The Matthew Whitaker Trio performs two shows on Easter Sunday, April 1 at Dazzle. Whitaker received the “Outstanding Soloist Award” from the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Charles Mingus high School Competition and Festival and the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition and Festival. Recognized by the Harlem International Film Festival, which named him “Most Remarkable Young Person on Screen.”

6:30pm performance is a KUVO JAZZ KIDS show. Kids under the age of 17 receive complimentary admission when accompanied by an adult.
