Vinyl Vault: “Montreux II” by Bill Evans

The Vinyl Vault features Bill Evans recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1970. The album, entitled “Montreux II” was released on CTI Records and featured Eddie Gomez on bass and Marty Morrell on drums. The concert and album were a follow-up to Evans’ highly acclaimed first performance at Montreux in 1968. The 1970 performance was another knock-out and you can hear it Tuesday night, November 6 at 8:30 pm on the Vinyl Vault with Geoff Anderson on KUVO Jazz.
