Wednesdays in February, Nocturne presents an exploration of the works of the great American songwriter Bob Dylan, by the Dave Hanson Quartet. Along with unique arrangements of classic Dylan tunes, the band will include select original materials as “traveling companions” for the series as well.

Dave Hanson is an accomplished arranger, composer, and pianist who has written for a diverse range of artists and ensembles, including the Boston Pops, Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, Denver Brass, Boulder Brass, USAF Falconaires, and Paul Winter. He is co-leader and arranger for the critically acclaimed H2 Big Band (based in Denver, Colorado). Hanson teaches at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver, and is actively performing and teaching in the Denver area.
