AnDré Mali presents “The Soul”, a special two-month residency series featuring 20 original compositions and select standards that draw from the musical wells of gospel, blues, second line, Afro-Cuban, South American, swing, free jazz, South African and more.

Regardless of background, religion or labels of diversity, the spirit of the arts and sciences holds great power in understanding the commonalities of the soulful human experience. With this series, AnDré aims to evoke through music the many facets of this experience (hope, contemplation, trust, faith, perseverance, love and unity) that connect us and bring us together.

Born and raised on the east coast (now based out of Denver, Colorado) AnDré Mali is an award-winning trumpeter and composer who performs jazz, gospel, rock, and blues. A gifted performer with a truly original sound, AnDré has played with a number of international artists including Tab Benoit and George Clinton.
