Appearing for their first show ever in Denver, we welcome Miles Okazaki, Matt Mitchell, Sean Rickman & Anthony Tidd to Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club on Tuesday, April 9. Rarely do you encounter music so deep, genre-bending and moving that is not weighty and overstated.

Simply put Trickster is approachable and intriguing.

An incredibly skilled guitarist at the center of the New York scene, Miles joined forces with three heavy hitters and recorded the Trickster on the Pi label. The resulting work garnered tremendous critical praise;  “a true concept album” by the Wall Street Journal, and “an expression of deep, systemic intrigue” by the New York Times. Trickster made best of lists on Pop Matters and the Los Angeles Times and was an Editor’s Pick at both Downbeat and JazzTimes.
