Chicano Music Hall of Famer, Lerry Medina, originally of San Luis, Colorado, has been playing live Chicano, Latin, Rock and Roll, Mariachi and Rockabilly music since he was 14 years old. He has been playing guitar and singing live for over 60 years with inspiration coming from his love of legends like The Ventures, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly and Al Hurricane, to name a few.
As a solo artist, Lerry recorded Songs from the Heart in 2004 and in 2008 he recorded an album called Nada Seguro. His love of music was passed to his son, Troy Medina, who plays guitar and trumpet in accompaniment on that album. They have been making music together for over 40 years.
