The Hall inducts six legendary icons — past and present — of Denver’s jazz scene: El Chapultepec & Jerry Krantz, Greg Gisbert, Eric Gunnison, KUVO & Carlos Lando, Ellyn Rucker, and Ken Walker.

What better place to honor these greats than at one of Denver’s earliest jazz clubs! Cervantes, located in the heart of Five Points, was once the Casino Cabaret, which opened during the Cotton Club days of the 1930s and served as one of the main stops on the tours of jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Benny Goodman—as well as Colorado Music Hall of Famers Charles Burrell and George Morrison, Sr.
