Eats & Beats: Viva! Mexi-Coffee-Shop
In a perfect blend of “Eats & Beats,” conguero and Chef Leo Corona Muñoz visited The Morning Set to talk about his new eatery on East Colfax, Viva! Mexi-Coffee-Shop. They specialize in pastries (and soon, sandwiches) from around Latin America, and an authentically spiced Mexican coffee. Co-owner/wife Elisa Garcia Revello is also a musician and visual artist, and they’re making space in the café for guest artists to show and sell their work.
When Leo arrived at KUVO for the interview, we discovered we’d seen him playing percussion with various bands in town. It’s a fascinating conversation that shows how music, food, arts, and love can all come together to make a beautiful space.
