Jonathan Powell and Mambo Jazz Party celebrate the release of their new record with this special record release party performance at Dazzle on Monday, October 7 at 7 p.m.

The group draws from Jonathan’s 20-year freelance career as a trumpet player in the NYC salsa and Latin jazz scene. He was a regular member of Eddie Palmieri’s groups for 10 years. He recorded and performed with Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, Miguel Zenon Big Band, Oscar Hernandez and Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Ricky Martin, Tito Puente Jr., and many more.

Saxophonist Louis Fouché will join the group as a special guest from NYC. He is a longstanding member of the Late Night with Stephen Colbert Show Band as well as Eddie Palmieri’s groups.
