In the decade-long collaboration between Brazilian guitarist Gabriel Santiago and jazz pianist Peter John Stoltzman, the two have recorded and performed together in a trio, quartet, quintet, and big band, in the U.S. and in Brazil. And recently released their first duo CD, Joy in Friends.

Santiago and Stoltzman’s music conveys a range of deep emotions, and a stylistic crossover from Brazilian to Jazz, merging the timbres of acoustic guitar and piano in an inspired and joyful reflection of their friendship.
