Join saxophonist and vocalist Briana Harris on a exploration of some of the greatest songs of the past 50 years. Just like jazz musicians covered popular music in the Great American Songbook throughout the 20th century, Bri’s band takes the same lens to interpret the music of celebrated songwriters from the 1970s through today. The adventurous set will include well known hits and deeper cuts from artists like Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Elliott Smith, Fiona Apple, and many more. Hear your favorite songs in a new light as the band builds a “Modern Songbook” for today’s jazz audiences.
