12th Annual Indigenous Film & Arts Festival | Oct. 7 – 13
Love a good story? The Indigenous Film & Arts Festival, now in its twelfth year, offers an array of intriguing stories told by native peoples from around the world.
This year’s presentation, themed People & Place, features a multicultural variety of full-length films, shorts, and documentaries from indigenous writers, actors, filmmakers, and cultural experts.
Presented by the International Institute for Indigenous Resource Management, this festival is the only collaboration of its kind in Colorado, displaying artistic works and films from North and South American Indian, Canadian First Nations, Native Hawaiian, Maori, and Aboriginal Australian participants.
You won’t see these films anywhere else! Film venues include University of Denver, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and the University of Denver.
All events are free (suggested donation $5 at the door). See the full schedule here.
