Max Wagner is a consummate tenor saxophonist, singer, and entertainer. Whether Max is performing a blazing bebop solo or a soulful ballad, he plays each song with total body and soul tempered with impeccable precision.

He has played with the likes of Don Braden, Conte Candoli, Javon Jackson, Pete Christlieb, the musicians from Harry Connick Jr’s big band, Dakota Staton, Marcus Printup, Lou Tabakin, and many, many other jazz luminaries. Max is a veteran of some seventy recordings, but there are 4 CDs out there with Max as leader. The third, appropriately named “Gratitude,” was selected as CD of the Month at KUVO and received airplay in cities around the country. As always, Max brings the best of the best band with him.
