Phyllis A Greer Performance Studio - Year-round we are joined by local and international as well as young and seasoned musicians whose performances are broadcasted live.

The R & B Jukebox Holiday Special is our annual salute to the roots of rhythm and blues – holiday style.  Here’s where you hear the songs about Santa’s soulful side, his rock-n-roll reindeer and more.  It’s two hours of duck-walking jingle-jangle, baby!  Hosted by Rolando Garcia on Saturday December 17 at 6pm.

Kearney Middle School jazz band has performed at KUVO eight of the last nine years. Kearney Middle School students are given instruments to use free of charge. Band director Michael Snodgrass attended Kearney Middle School and Adams City High School. The Kearney Middle School Jazz Band will be joined by maestro Walter Barr on trumpet and saxophone and flute master Dave Thrush. Kearney Middle School is located in the garden district of Commerce City Colorado. Adams County School District 14 has a long history of supporting music and the arts.

The Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts (CCJA) is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth to creatively express themselves through the language of jazz. CCJA gives young musicians all across the Front Range life-changing musical experiences, mentored by the region’s most sought-after authentic professional jazz musicians, who help them reach whatever level of mastery they desire while feeling connected and supported as they explore their artistic selves.
