Phyllis A Greer Performance Studio - Year-round we are joined by local and international as well as young and seasoned musicians whose performances are broadcasted live.

KUVO Studio Club: The Katie Thiroux Trio

The Katie Thiroux Trio will perform in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio on Tuesday, October 3 from 1pm to 2pm. With band mates, Steven Feifke on piano and Matt Witek on drums, Thiroux offers in-the-moment jazz that draws upon the rich history of the music, from swing to bebop and beyond.

KUVO Studio Club welcomes former Colorado resident and drummer, Kenneth Brown and his Quartet to the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio on Friday, September 15 - 5 to 6pm. On Sunday, September 10 at 4 p.m., KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” features the music of local piano heroine Ellyn Rucker.

We didn’t have to dig far into the archives to find recordings of live sets Ellyn and various players have done in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.  In this radio celebration of Ellyn’s career, you’ll hear sessions from 2001, 2005 and 2007, featuring Ellyn’s piano and voice, with side players including: Rich Chiaraluce, Jill Frederickson and Ron Moewes, Ken Walker, Mark Simon and Bill McCrossen, Dave Corbus and others.
